Frying Pans, Cleaning Products and Laundry.

Yesterday after work, the Hubs and I stopped by Canadian Tire. Wasn't planning on going in but Dennis insisted that I should go, since he might take a while going around the tool section. So I went in and said to myself to not buy anything. Well, that plan back fired.

As soon as I headed down to the Kitchen Aisle, I knew then that I wouldn't be able to leave the store without buying two frying pans that were on sale for $10. Mind you those Lagostina pans are quite costly. Regular price was at $42. I just couldn't pass up the deal. In reality, I don't need new frying pans. I have a whole new set of those babies. But since I love to cook and Dennis knows this all too well, is that I am a sucker for kitchen utensil, gadgets, etc.

I would've bought the other Lagostina frying pans that were also on sale for $12 and $15, but I already have those and are still new. They still have their packaging on them. So that I had to pass. HEHE!

I also realized yesterday that I can't seem to get enough cleaning products. Mind you, I DO NOT CLEAN! You would rarely see me clean. Since Dennis is the one who does all that. But I found myself buying cleaning supplies that were on sale. Confession. I also bought a bunch of cleaners (ie: Windex) on Monday. It was on sale for $2. Couldn't pass that up either. So now, I have a stock of cleaning products in our utility/laundry closet.

Another realization from yesterday was, I like doing laundry. YEAH! The dreaded pile of clothes that no one likes to do, I actually enjoy it! Weird! I know! I found that I'm a bit on the O.C. side when it comes to doing the laundry. I have multiple baskets (whites, darks, colors, and Dennis' work hamper) for clothes. I figured that, if I have them in different hampers, it'll be easier to do laundry. That way, I do not need to sort out the clothes when it comes time to washing them. Saves time too! Aside from the different hampers, I've also got different detergents for each of them. YES! You're probably reading this and thinking, "What the?!?!?!" Clothes certainly aren't cheap. So, I prefer to have detergents that will take care of my clothes. I have Tide Vivid White for my whites, Woolite Dark for darks, and Purex for my colored clothes. I've also got two different stain removers to keep my white clothes bright and colored clothes to keep them looking good.

I told ya, I'm on the O.C. side of doing laundry. I never even knew I had that in me!

Putting away clothes is tedious. But I actually like it. I went a little Sheldon Cooper on folding our clothes. I got a flip-and-fold, and use that to neatly fold our clothes. I'm not even going to be shy about admitting that, I can't fold clothes properly. My sister and Mom knows this all too well. But having that little device actually helps me and I like looking at our clothes, all neatly put away.

Our drawers are also labeled. I did that, so Dennis would know where the clothes will go and not just stash them somewhere. LOL!

It took buying a house, to realize that I am a bit O.C. on things. HAHA!

Now let's see, if things will change in regards to me cleaning the house. HAHAHAHAHA!
